FOUR members of York-based Ford Risk Management have recently qualified as NVQ assessors, providing a further service to their clients.
Risk managers Jed Wedemen, Trudie Blade, Gordon Linford and Gavin Leatherbarrow head of risk management, completed their assessor qualification and were presented with their qualification by training provider PBC Associates Ltd.
The NVQ awards now available through Ford Risk Management include the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Practice and the City & Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, adding to the accredited and non-accredited training portfolio offered by the company.
Mr Leatherbarrow said: “As a risk management company we fully understand the importance of ensuring organisations have the correct training in place. For us to now have our own NVQ assessors shows the commitment we have to growing our training portfolio and offering an additional service to our clients.”
Ford Risk Management offers a number of training qualifications which can be tailored to any organisation’s specific needs. The team, based across the UK, can provide training at an organisation’s premises or at its York office.
