A GROUP of 12 cyclists are this weekend travelling from coast-to-coast to raise money for the family of a seriously ill little boy.
The team set off from St Bees in Cumbria yesterday and hope to reach Robin Hood’s Bay by Sunday.
The ride is in aid of four-year-old Blaise Etheridge-Clarke, of Rawcliffe, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2009.
The team is made up of parents of children at St Wilfrid’s RC Primary School in Monkgate, which is attended by Blaise’s brother, and their friends and family.
If you would like to sponsor the team, who hope to raise £600 for the family to spend in any way they would like, to make their life easier, email Ian Gledhill at iangledhill@btinternet.com
