OLD Christmas cards can now be dropped off for recycling at the offices of Hambleton and Richmondshire District Council.
Collection bins have been placed at the Civic Centre in Northallerton and at the Community Office in Richmond until January 27.
Residents can also recycle their cards at any of the cardboard recycling banks in Richmondshire and Hambleton, including the village paper and cardboard banks. Cards should not be placed in the town paper banks or the blue kerbside recycling bags, said the council.
