A PUBLIC seminar at the University of York later this month will look at whether technology can save the planet.
The University of York’s Stockholm Environment Institute will host its second annual public seminar titled Can Technology Save The Planet?
Speakers will include environmentalist and award winning author Mark Lynas, and Dr Doug Parr, chief scientist and policy director of the environmental campaign group Greenpeace.
The event will take place on Thursday, at the National Science Learning Centre at the university, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. The event is free and can be booked online by visiting seiy2012.eventbrite.co.uk or phoning 01904 322897.
