5) The Ship Inn was in King's Staith. It is now a steak house, formerly The Waterfront.

6) This Red Lion was in Goodramgate, very near Monk Bar.

7) The Britannia Inn was in Nunnery Lane and is now Guppy's.

8) This sign is in the courtyard of Yates's Wine Lodge, at the end of Church Lane, behind the Spurriergate Centre.

9) This "Stop here shop here" sign is in Fossgate, opposite the entrance to the Merchant Adventurers' Hall.

10) This newly-uncovered sign is in Walmgate, directly opposite Margaret Street.
