HAVE you ever noticed the 'ghost signs' scattered around York? These signs tell of long-lost advertisers or businesses that once occupied the city - but they rarely draw more than a passing glance.
Here are ten that you may or may not recognise - but can you identify where in York they are? The first one is fairly easy, the others less so - and the final one has only been re-revealed in recent months, through building work. The link below each picture will take you to the answers page.
