THE EU in its current form is failing as it is controlled by a centralist global capitalist cabal, with the resultant catastrophic financial crisis, austerity and ideological drive to impoverish the working class in favour of the one per cent.

If the participants of the Euro had obeyed the rules and remained within the defined economic parameters overheating may not have occurred. They have proven themselves incapable of fiscal discipline and outside the Euro the UK is out of control with national debt equal to GDP and a deficit barely managed even with raised VAT, austerity and acquiring of the post office pension.

This unequal EU has vast differences in personal wealth, massive unemployment and a disenfranchised underclass, especially among the young.

The EU could be divided into Anglo/Celtic/Nordic, central, eastern and southern autonomous areas. Each area would be an independent region permitting us, the electorate, to have direct input into the EU through representation from additional smaller regional parliament’s and first minister’s. Poor nations would be given tapered debt relief of up to 100 per cent reflected by their weighted hierarchical economic position in return for enacting progressively defined socially humane economic policies.
