ACCORDING to Berwick Kaler regarding the forthcoming pantomime "the people of York are all getting very excited about it" (The Press, December 3).
I have news for you Berwick: oh no we're not.
For the first time in all the years I have been going to see the panto, I am not looking forward to seeing it.
Having queued overnight yet again in order to get tickets for specific seats for a particular performance, only to have the venue changed to a tent in the middle of winter, I still feel cheated.
Furthermore, I very much doubt that I will be missing another night's sleep, especially now the covered area has gone, or even bothering to buy tickets for next year's production.
Peter Newton, (first in queue March 2014), Montague Street, York
