I refer to I Anderson’s letter in the Press (Change of story, February 22).
There has certainly not been a “change of story”.
As at last March there was no indication what the proposals were at the south end of Beckfield Lane.
I would have been satisfied if “on-road” proposals had been forthcoming, but they were not. My concern is not just for cyclists but the number of pedestrians, many of whom are elderly, put at risk at the southern end of Beckfield Lane.
Having identified where Mr Anderson lives on Beckfield Lane, I suggest he has a word with his neighbours, most of whom signed the petition against the proposed joint usage of the footpath.
