David Cameron was right to visit our gallant troops in Afghanistan and to double their daily allowance.
What is not right, is our troops being in Afghanistan at all.
They are serving no useful beneficial purpose to the people of Britain, and nearly 300 have died, and many more severely injured, for no good reasons. It would save our country millions of pounds if we came out now, and save umpteen lives.
Our armed forces should also vacate Iraq, Germany, Belize, Cyprus and all of Africa.
It is not making Britain any safer by fighting an unwinnable war in Afghanistan. It should not be up to us to alter their country, and promote our ways of doing things. Besides, the dangers our nation faces are mostly in Pakistan. A UN convoy of over 50 vehicles has just been torched and wrecked in Pakistan.
It is likely that Pakistan is passing on classified intelligence to the Taliban, especially in relation to what India is doing.
Afghans have no desire to bomb the streets of England, provided we keep out of their country.
