I READ your article on St Andrew’s House (Property Press August 25) with some disappointment, having watched with interest the development of a former accountant’s practice back into a residential property.
Your narrative quickly turned into estate- agent speak and seemed to suggest the property is already a much-loved, lived-in family home which I’m sure it will be one day. But how long ago did someone actually live in the property? It must have been many years ago.
Nor does your photo of the property support the comment that you can stand in the private walled garden and look at the Minster, which seems close enough to touch; just where is it actually, is it that speck of scaffolding in the distance and what can you see if you look in the opposite direction, I wonder?
