ILLUSTRATOR Amy Husband is the focus of a homecoming exhibition at Pocklington Arts Centre until January 19.
Amy lives in York but grew up in Pocklington, since when she has established a career as a children’s book illustrator.
She has had several books published, the first of them, Dear Miss, being voted winner of the Cambridgeshire Children’s Picture Book Award.
“Her fresh and colourful work often incorporates elements of collage,” says Helen Steele, the arts centre’s visual arts officer. “I hope everyone enjoys the vibrancy of this young illustrator’s show.”
