THE Newton-on-Ouse Art Group’s 2012 Exhibition starts today.
The event, which is up-and-running at 2pm, was being opened by Group Captain Terry Jones, of RAF Linton-on-Ouse.
The exhibition is being held in the village hall and will run for three days, from 10am tomorrow and Bank Holiday Monday, and closing at 4pm.
The Newton group is well known for the high standard of the work of its 30 local members. The work on display, and for sale, will include watercolours of local sceens, pastel and oils.
All the pictures in the main hall are new works, although in a second room there will be smaller items and cards.
