Little Mix bounced on to the Barbican stage in crop tops and jeans to be greeted by a mass of screaming fans awaiting their arrival. With slick dance moves and fabulous voices, the group were an instant hit!
They opened with We Are Who We Are and Perrie introduced the group with enthusiasm and a smile.
Throughout their performance, the girls, despite their newly-found fame and fortune, came across as very down to earth and seemed touched by the amount of support they were receiving.
Everyone loved the performance of Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass – Little Mix-style – before they slowed it down when singing Always Be Together where Jesy admitted the girls were like sisters to her.
While taking a quick break, a video played showing the girls’ friendship, personalities and humour, making it clear to the crowd that Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade really are the best of friends.
The girls, full of energy and excitement, soon bounded back on to the stage in their second costume and the crowd were only too happy to sing along to the groups best known songs; Wings, DNA and Madhouse.
After the second costume change they performed a cover from one of their most popular X-Factor songs, Katy Perry’s E.T, before playing the medley of songs they created inspired by girl bands.
It’s hard to believe the band only rose to fame a year ago after being the first group ever to win X-Factor.
The girls then changed into their final costumes and sung their new single, Change Your Life, where they again thanked the crowd for coming, made a few shout outs to the audience and thanked their band.
They then asked: “Does anyone know the lyrics to wings?” A huge scream gave the answer Little Mix was hoping for as they burst into the chorus of their No1 hit single all over again!
