York Guildhall Orchestra’s 30th anniversary season continues on Saturday evening at Central Hall, University of York, where Michael Thompson is the soloist for Strauss’s Horn Concerto No 1. The 7.30pm programme also includes Elgar’s In The South and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 6, Pathétique.
