Ryedale Live’s travelling music show returns to Hovingham Village Hall tonight for a night of acoustic performances by five very different acts.
Headliners Two, alias Sharon Winfield and Helen Turner, will be joined on the 7.30pm bill by acoustic and harp guitarist Dale Campbell, who plays percussion, chords and melody simultaneously and combines original compositions with covers of Billie Jean, She Drives Me Crazy and Zombie.
As usual, support comes from three local acts: Scarborough singer, songwriter and guitarist Billy Nielsen; the Kirkby Band Quintet (Sarah Woodward and Jeanette Kendall on cornets, Philip Woodward on tenor horn, Ben Smailes on euphonium and John Kendall on tuba); and Malton singer-songwriter David Swann, whose set incorporates ballads of times past, comic numbers and love songs.
Tickets are available at £10 from organiser Rob Davies on 01653 690503 or via email to mail@ryedalelive.co.uk or on the door from 7pm.
