Will Ferrell is going to be honoured at this year's MTV Movie Awards.
The Anchorman star will pick-up the inaugural Comedic Genius gong.
"Will Ferrell epitomises what it means to be a comedic genius and it's only fitting that he should be the inaugural recipient of this award," said Stephen Friedman, MTV President.
"Over the course of his extraordinary, 17-plus-year career, he has entertained audiences across the globe with an impressive array of laugh-out-loud performances on air, online and in films. Simply put, Will Ferrell is 'kind of a big deal'."
Will, who reprises his role as Ron Burgundy in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues this year, made his name on Saturday Night Live.
He will join Pitch Perfect actress and host Rebel Wilson at the show when it airs on MTV UK at April 15 at 9pm.
