Kristen Stewart has signed up to star in a Guantanamo-based film called Camp X-Ray.
Deadline reports that the Twilight actress will play a young soldier who joins the Army to escape her hometown but discovers that she isn't doing a tour of Iraq as she expected, but is getting posted to Guantanamo Bay.
Met with hatred from inmates, she develops an unlikely friendship with a young man who has been imprisoned at the camp for eight years.

Kristen is also set to star with Juliette Binoche and Chloe Moretz in Sils Maria, directed by Olivier Assayas.
She will play the young assistant to Juliette's character in the film, which explores middle age.
