Anna Kendrick is the latest star to be linked to Disney's upcoming Into The Woods.
The Pitch Perfect star is reportedly wanted by Disney to take on the role of Cinderella in the big-screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's Tony-winning stage musical, says Vulture.
It's been a star-fest of a cast so far as the film has signed Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Pine and Emily Blunt.
Sondheim, who made Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street in 2007, will be adapting the tale for film.
The film is a mash-up of different fairytales and follows a baker and his wife as they attempt to lift a family curse by journeying into the woods to confront the witch that put the spell on them.
If Anna takes the part of Cinderella she would be playing opposite Prince Charming Jake, with Chris as Rapunzel's prince, Johnny as the wolf, Meryl as the witch and Emily as the baker's wife. James Corden is signed up to play the baker.
The actress has plenty of musical experience, singing in last year's comedy Pitch Perfect and being nominated for a Tony Award at the age of 12 for her performance in High Society.
Into The Woods is due to be released in December 2014.
