A YORK shopping centre was turned into a catwalk as models showcased the latest designs for the spring and summer season.
The Styled By Coppergate event in the Coppergate Centre saw a series of free open-air fashion shows held throughout Saturday, with stores featured including Fenwick, Topshop and Topman, Ark, Miss Selfridge, Charles Clinkard, Jane Norman, Clarks, Marks & Spencer and Pia Jewellery, providing the clothes and accessories.
The day was organised by the centre and stylist and choreographer Sally Mansell, who has nine years of fashion industry experience and has run similar events across the country. Fenwick also provided champagne and canapes and the centre’s shops ran exclusive offers and competitions with prizes including a Mulberry bag.
Pictures of the outfits from the shows are on coppergateshopping.co.uk and the centre’s Facebook page.
