A new website for local community groups will launch on Saturday with the help of a young York boy.
TIM in York was named by Zack Chamberlin-Kidd, aged 12, who used the initials of The Incredible Movement to create its unique identity.
The website is funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and allows groups and organisations to promote events, communicate activity and co-ordinate projects.
Project member Imelda Havers said: “With Zack’s clever ideas and many more from all ages and parts of the community, we’ve got something really exciting and fresh.”
The launch will take place in the Art Room at Clements Hall, Nunthorpe Road, between 2pm and 4pm.
