THREE people were taken to hospital after a head-on collision on the A64 in North Yorkshire.
Two vehicles crashed at Rillington, near Malton, in the early hours of yesterday.
A woman driving a Ford Ka suffered injuries, which were described by North Yorkshire Police as “not life threatening, but possibly life changing”.
She was freed from the car by firefighters and taken to York Hospital.
Two men in the other car, also a Ford, were trapped when fire crews arrived.
They were taken to Scarborough Hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
The road reopened at 1.49am and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
