Woman rescued after Elvington crash
A TWENTY-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital with suspected head injuries after a road accident in Elvington this morning.
Two fire crews from York were called to the crash on Dauby Lane, Elvington, at around 7.45am today.
A fire service spokesman said the crash involved just one car, and firefighters helped paramedics free the woman trapped in the car before she was taken to hospital with suspected head injuries.
