March to commemorate Battle of Towton anniversary
A MARCH to commemorate the anniversary of the Wars of the Roses battle of Towton will be held tomorrow.
The march will also raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, with 15th Century re-enactment groups walking the 14 miles from Clifford’s Tower to the Towton battlefield wearing costome and carrying equipment from the period.
