Post office branch to open for longer
Opening hours at a York post office will more than double to 108 hours a week following a revamp.
The new-look Brockfield branch at Brockfield Park Drive in Huntington will welcome shoppers seven days a week and offer a wider range of services.
Customers can also enjoy a modern open plan layout at the new branch, which will be open 6:30am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 7am-10pm on Sunday.
The site will be closed from 12.30pm on Saturday May 24, until 1pm on Thursday May 29 for the work to be carried out.
Post Office Area Manager Julie Kemp said: “We’re confident this new modern post office will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.”
