Mar 1: Trust claim positive talks are held with the football authorities, whose approval is vital if their bid is to succeed.
Mar 5: Former City director John Quickfall resigns from board of BCH and pledges to return any profits from his share-holding to securing a new home for the football club. Press reveals City's estimated debt is around £1.8million Mar 6: In light of Press revelations regarding the size of City's debt, Batchelor defends his record. Trust launch loan note scheme to raise funds.
Mar 7: Heynes declares his interest in City at an end. Creditor John Dodsworth calls on other creditors to agree to waive their debts to help the Trust's bid come to fruition. Pledges also give any profits from his BCH shareholding to the Trust.
Mar 8: Administrator rules out a legal challenge to BCH and the transfer of assets from City to the company.
Mar 10: Council chiefs pledge to give City a ten year lease at Huntington Stadium to satisfy League requirements.
Mar 12: Plans announced that will see City moving to a revamped Huntington after another season playing at B C rent free. As part of deal, Trust must withdraw their objection to Persimmon's planning application. BCH and Persimmon also agree to provide "substantial monies" to the redevelopment. Council pledge to relocate the running track Mar 14: Trust announce another £60,000 is needed within 72 hours to enable their takeover to be completed.
Batchelor tells the Evening Press he is willing to cover the club's funding shortfall caused by his decision to sell 2003-04 season tickets at half-price. League block City's plans to sign Keith Graydon on loan from Sunderland.
Mar 15: Trust unveil Steve Beck, Sophie McGill and Mike Brown as directors of the new York City FC.
Mar 17: Trust reaches fundraising target but take-over plans are put on hold when at a meeting of creditors the Inland Revenue holds out for more cash under the terms of a Company Voluntary Arrangement. At the meeting, which is adjourned three times, insolvency firm Jacksons Jolliffe Cork come under fire from angry creditors Mar 18: Trust reaffirms its commitment to saving City and agrees to fund the club for another week so talks with the tax authorities can be held.
Mar 19: Jason McGill and Ian McAndrew are appointed to the new club's board of directors.
Mar 24: At new meeting of creditors, taxman again refuses to accept a revised offer and the proposed CVA is again adjourned.

Mar 27: Trust board reveal a code of conduct including directors buying their own season tickets.
Mar 28: Alex Mathie, James Okoli, Mike Basham and Aiden O'Kane released by the club as Trust starts cutting costs.
Mar 29: City win first game under Trust control 2-0 against Southend and move to third in the table. Signs from the Batchelor era removed from the ground and supporters march from the Minster to the ground to celebrate the dawning of a new era.
