A BMW has been badly damaged by fire in York city centre.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the car caught fire in Station Road, near York Railway Station, at about 2.30pm this afternoon.
A spokeswoman said the vehicle was '50 per cent' fire damaged in the blaze, which was tackled by firefighters and was thought to have been caused by an engine fault.
