THE woman whose body was found in a York nature reserve has not yet been named.
A group of children discovered a woman's body in the Clifton Backies nature reserve on Monday morning.
North Yorkshire Police said they were called by the ambulance service, to reports of a sudden death.
The Press understands the emergency services were contacted by schoolchildren, who discovered the woman, at just after 8.30am.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said: "Sadly, the woman, who was aged in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Police are not treating her death as suspicious and are not looking for anyone else in connection with it."
The spokeswoman said the woman's next of kin had been informed, but the force was not yet in a position to release her identity.
North Yorkshire Police said this morning that there was no further update in the case.
Officers are unlikely to be able to name the woman until the coroner opens a file.
