A MAN has been found dead inside a city centre hotel.
Police, paramedics and a fire officer were all called to the Hotel Indigo, in Walmgate, York, at 2.30pm on Saturday when staff became concerned about a guest.
When paramedics arrived he was found unconscious and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is believed to be aged in his 40s and from York.
A police spokesman said: "Upon arrival officers found the body of a middle-aged man in one of the bedrooms. Ambulance crews attended but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
