THIS was the scene when a lorry caught fire in North Yorkshire.
Three fire crews were called to the A1(M) northbound near Boroughbridge in the early hours of Saturday.
The fire began at about 4.10am when a tyre blew between junctions 47 and 48 on the northbound carriageway.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was caused by locked brakes, and caused 20 per cent damage to the vehicle, but nobody was hurt.
