TRAIN passengers on the East Coast Mainline face delays of up to three hours this evening.
A fire on a freight train between Retford and Doncaster meant the lines were blocked for about an hour earlier this afternoon.
Although services did start to get back to normal after the fire, there are now problems with the electricity supply between Peterborough and Grantham causing more disruption.
Trains between Peterborough and Doncaster - south of York on the East Coast Mainline - may be delayed by up to 3 hours or cancelled. Train companies have confirmed the disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day,.
Passengers are being allowed to use their tickets on some other services or routes.
