FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire at a house in York this morning.
Crews were called to the fire, in Ostman Road, in Acomb, at about 3.50am.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was initially a wooden pallet on fire outside that spread to the building.
To put out the flames, crews used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
The fire service spokesperson confirmed that nobody was injured in the fire.
