A LORRY fire closed a major service station this morning.
Crews from North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Wetherby services to deal with the fire.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to the services at about 5.45am, to reports of a HGV trailer on fire.
The trailer and its contents - understood to be home furnishings - were completely destroyed in the fire.
Nobody was injured, and the blaze was put out by crews from Knaresborough and Wetherby by about 8am.
