A CAR burst into flames in York.
Firefighters were called to a report of a car fire in Strensall Road at about 9.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "This was believed to be due to an electrical fault in the engine compartment."
One hose reel jet, breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera were used to deal with the fire.
