NEWLY reinstated executive member Cllr Keith Aspden is urging residents to contribute to The ‘Festival of York Central’, which will be launched today.
The six-week festival includes an exhibition at the National Railway Museum and a series of events.
In one of his first statements since getting his place back on City of York Council’s executive, he said: “I am pleased to see the project reach this stage and now, we must engage with more residents to get involved and help shape the future plans.
“I strongly believe that it is only through engagement with York’s residents that the council will be able to make York Central a success.”
Residents can give feedback online at www.yorkcentral.info for the duration of the festival, which lasts until the end of April.
Questionnaire forms will be available at the exhibition.
