A CHOIR is set to raise money for the NSPCC with a free concert in York next month.
John Lewis’s choir the Vocal Vikings, will host an evening of musical hits, in York on July 15, in aid of the NSPCC.
The show will be held in the Vangarde Shopping Park store, with special guests, refreshments and a raffle, with all funds raised going to the children's charity.
Gemma Lumley of the Vocal Vikings said: "We love coming together and singing our favourite songs but it is even more special when we do so for such a good cause. We would love for everyone to come along and support us for what will be a really memorable occasion."
Emma Greendale, store manager, said: "We are so proud of our talented Vocal Vikings and really pleased to host this fundraising event for the NSPCC who do so much for children when they need help and support the most."
Elaine Kaye, NSPCC fundraising manager, said: "I’d like to thank the Vocal Vikings for organising what promises to be a terrific musical evening. It is absolutely wonderful that they have decided to fundraise for the NSPCC and the children and young people we help in Yorkshire and across the UK."
The free event is on Sunday, July 15, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
