Tadcaster firefighters deal with the lorry fire on the A1 Picture tweet4ed by Station Manager Bob Hoskins
FIREFIGHTERS from Tadcaster tackled a lorry fire on the A1 caused by overheating brakes early today.
Station Manager Bob Hoskins tweeted that crews used two hose reel jets to cool the brakes and wheels of the vehicle at Selby Fork.
He added that a few minutes later, they assisted colleagues from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service at a car fire.
