Body found in River Ouse
POLICE have confirmed that a body has been found in the River Ouse in York.
The force said that it attended the River Ouse near the Blue Bridge in York at 12pm today (Tuesday) - and the body of a man was recovered.
The body has not yet been formally identified, but it is believed to be that of missing man Joseph Cafferkey, police said.
North Yorkshire Police added: "Mr Cafferkey’s family have been informed."
