The Musical Box

Where: York Barbican Centre, Paragon Street

The Musical Box is a Canadian band founded in 1993 known for staging near-perfect re-creations of famous Genesis shows from the 1972-1975 era. It is the only band officially licensed by Genesis and Peter Gabriel.

The Goon Sax

When: 7pm

Where: The Fulford Arms, 121 Fulford Rd

The Goon Sax is an Australian indie-pop trio from Brisbane, Queensland. The band will be performing songs from their second album Mirror II.

Saturday, February 5

York Guildhall Orchestra

When: 7.30pm

Where: York Barbican Centre, Paragon Street

The second concert in their 41st concert season sees the York Guildhall Orchestra perform one of Beethoven’s rarely played overtures.

 

Rave On - starring The Bluejays

When: 7.30pm

Where: York Theatre Royal, St Leonard's Place

Rave On is the 1950’s musical sensation sweeping the nation. Featuring multiple award-winning band The Bluejays, a group comprised of stars from West End Productions The Buddy Holly Story, Million Dollar Quartet and Dreamboats & Petticoats, Rave On transports you back to the fabulous 50’s in stunningly authentic style.
