Sunday roast is served from midday until it sells out, usually around 4pm.
One reviewer told Tripadvisor: "Just had such a lovely roast in this traditional feel York pub. The Yorkshire puds were massive, plenty of veg and importantly generous amounts of gravy. All three courses we had were lovely. The staff were super smiley and nothing was too much trouble. I would 100% recommend."

Even better, chefs are happy to accommodate alterations to menu items for different dietary needs, including dairy and gluten free switches.
One regular customer said: "I have come here a lot with friends for a Sunday roast as it is the best in York. I was sat in the front of the restaurant and was waited on by Caroline.
"The food was incredible as always and the service even better. Everything we needed was catered for, no issue was too big or small.
