RESIDENTS in York are being reminded that all council offices in the city will be closed today and on Easter Monday.
But bin collections will be carried out as normal over the holiday period and household waste recycling collections will also be made.
Out-of-hours contact phone numbers – which should only be used in emergencies – are available under the “emergency contacts” section on City of York Council’s website, which can be accessed at york.gov.uk
The emergency duty team for social care and housing queries can be contacted on 0845 0349417, while those looking for information about emergency repairs to council properties should phone 01904 630405.
