These dedicated followers of fashion were queuing up to catch a bargain as York’s latest store opened its doors.
TK Maxx Woman was giving away goody bags and £10 vouchers to spend in its new Coney Street store to its first 500 customers yesterday. Store manager Emma Ashby said: “We had given them all out within the first 40 minutes of opening. It’s been absolutely fantastic, we’ve had a phenomenal response. I’ve been on the store floors most of the day and I’ve been getting great feedback.”
TK Maxx already has a large outlet selling fashions and home furnishings in Monks Cross, York, but the new city centre outlet in the former Boots store sells womens wear and accessories exclusively.
