A DANCE school celebrated its 20th anniversary with a party and reunion.

The Clover School of Dance, run by Elaine Garlick-Brittain, held the party at New Earswick Bowls Club for current and former members.

Elaine said: “It was lovely, it was really nice. Everybody who turned up loved catching up with each other. Some are now at university, some are working and some have babies. They were all really chuffed to see each other.”

The school currently has 200 students aged from three to 18 and holds classes in Heworth, Osbaldwick and Dunnington.

About 40 former pupils were at the party for the reunion, although two particular pupils of the Clover School were unable to make it; Sarah Duck and Rachael McEnaney are now both professional dancers and were unable to attend because of work commitments.
