THE Environment Agency is continuing its investigation into BCB Environmental Services Ltd, the waste disposal company whose Tockwith base was devastated by fire last month.
The Government pollution watchdog has ordered a clean-up of the site on Marston Business Park and nearby residents have complained of smells and fumes. The company went into administration after the blaze with the loss of nearly 40 jobs.
Investigators from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service have said they may never be able to establish the cause of the blaze.
