THE owners of two five-month-old Chihuahua puppies are “heartbroken” after the pair was stolen from a North Yorkshire farmhouse.
Burglars snatched Titch and Horace between 11am and 3pm on Sunday from the property in Cayton, near Filey.
Horace is described as having golden fur across the collar with a ginger tan coat and bald patches on the stomach and neck.
Titch is a ginger tan colour on the back with a pale front and short hair. DC Ray Roberts, of Scarborough CID, said: “The theft of pets is a particularly heartless crime.
They are not just animals but a part of the family. I appeal to anyone who can help us reunite Horace and Titch with their heartbroken owners.”
An Acer laptop computer was also stolen during the burglary.
Anyone with information should phone DC Roberts, on 0845 6060247. Alternatively, phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
