HAND over your cash or you could be exterminated when a Dalek invades Heslington to help raise money for BBC Children In Need.
York Dalek builder Andy Simpson will send one of the science-fiction menaces onto the streets of the university village and York Science Park today between 9am and 3pm.
It will be in Heslington Main Street between noon and 1.30pm He said: “We urge people brave enough to visit us in the area not to be worried; the Dalek has been programmed to like people who donate, but we’re not exactly sure what it will do if people don’t.”
All money raised will go to the annual BBC appeal, which will take place today.
