THERE was some good news for motorists in York as petrol stocks appeared to be unaffected by the bad weather.
In many areas of the country fuel deliveries to petrol stations have been delayed. In York however, petrol tankers have arrived on time and stocks are high.
One exception was the BP garage at Bilbrough Top services, where Sivaraj Chandrasekaran said: “The delivery terminal we receive fuel from has been closed. It reopened this morning but service is limited.”
