POLICE teams were yesterday searching for two men seen who were suspected of suspicious behaviour after being seen climbing over a garden wall in the centre of York.
Officers were alerted by a member of the public in the Wellington Street area of the city at about 2.40pm, when the men were spotted near a house in the street.
One man was then seen running away from the scene towards the Barbican Centre and the nearby Postern Gate bar.
The search for the men continued throughout yesterday afternoon. There has been no confirmation of any arrests.
