THE Press story about allegations that Miss York City posted nude photos of herself on Facebook – and had her title revoked as a result – has since gone global.
We reported last Saturday how model Charlotte Campbell, 23, who last year realised her modelling dreams by winning the York contest, was alleged by the current Miss Great Britain boss to have broken its rules and regulations by posting completely nude photos.
Charlotte strongly denied breaking the rules and said she could assure people there had never been any nude photographs of her published or printed, or posted on to Facebook or any other internet websites.
She said she believed the photograph being referred to was the one shown here, which was “implied nude”, and she felt she was an innocent victim in the middle of a dispute between past and present bosses of Miss Great Britain.
The story has since appeared in newspapers and on websites in Britain and across the globe.
Organisations which have reported it include Fox News, NDTV, Gazeta de Alagoas and Jornal de Notícias and Emirates 24/7.
