A WOMAN was cut from a car following a crash in York.

The woman was travelling in a Ford Mondeo with another adult when it collided with a Vauxhall Vectra at the roundabout in Front Street, Acomb, at about 1.30pm yesterday.

She was freed from the car by firefighters and taken to York Hospital by ambulance with minor leg injuries and whiplash injuries. The other person in the car was uninjured and the three people in the Vauxhall, two adults and one child, were checked over by paramedics, a fire service spokesman said.
